Kevin Kelley
It was the long and convoluted history of wine that captured Kevin’s interest at a young age. After reading “Like Modern Eden’s” by Charles Sullivan, he knew he had to be a part of this noble yet somehow humble tradition.

He started his career at UC Davis where he received a degree in Viticulture and Enology. However, it was in Burgundy where many life lessons were learned and a wine making-foundation was created.

Returning to California, Kevin spent several years working as the facility winemaker for a high-end custom crush. His time there exposed him to the techniques and ideologies of over fifteen winemakers and the best Pinot noir and Chardonnay vineyards that California has to offer.

Kevin began making wine for Heintz and Dutch Bill Creek in 2004.

Today Kevin is focused on making the wines for Heintz and Dutch Bill Creek at Salinia, his family cellar in Santa Rosa.
